Kevin Miller, Director, Planned Giving & Trust Services

Kevin has been a part of the Northern California Conference family since 2017. His time has been spent meeting with our members, helping them orchestrate their final and lasting gifts to their families and loved charities. Beginning in 2026 Kevin has transitioned to a coordinating role as Director of PG&TS for NCC.

Kevin earned his BA in Lincoln, Nebraska and his career has included business ownership, business management, forensic accounting, media production, sales, marketing, and PR.

He admits he has too many hobbies and is an avid explorer of things he hasn't yet seen.

Cynthia Marin, Trust Officer / Planned Giving Consultant

Cynthia Marin has been an administrative Assistant, in the trust and property department, for the past three years. She is responsible for processing and maintaining current use agreements, tax exemptions for churches, schools and general conference property issues.

Cynthia graduated as a dental technician from Montemorelos University and later completed her nurse assistant program at Gateway College.

Cynthia is an accomplished singer and has a passion for music. She produced & recorded a gospel music CD in 2012.

Her hobbies include hiking, organizing and music. She is a mother of three active college boys and enjoys spending time with them. Cynthia is also an integral part of her husband's ministry. They love to travel, both nationally and abroad, spreading the gospel of Christ.

JJ Bazemore, Planned Giving Consultant

JJ graduated with her BA in Communications from PUC. Most recently, she has worked with an internationally known and award-winning religious television broadcast as their Estate & Planned Giving Coordinator.

JJ has traveled the world, falling in love with both Italy and Morocco. She enjoys exploring new foods, good books and doing things with family & friends. She is absolutely passionate about helping people create their legacy through Estate Planning.

Cheryl Peckham, AssociateTreasurer

Cheryl earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of La Verne. She holds a Certified Public Accountant license in the state of California. She worked for General Conference Auditing Service for more than 20 years, specializing in Planned Giving and Trust Services for the last eight years.

Cheryl and her husband, Dave, are the proud parents of two adult daughters and their spouses and three grandchildren. She loves to travel—especially with her family. At home, she enjoys reading, cooking and listening to music.

Andreia Bende, Administrative Assistant

Andreia is a native of Brazil. Prior to joining NCC she spent the past twenty years in corporate offices and hospitals making sure work flows in the most efficient manner possible.

Her specialty is keeping the staff on-task and liaising with the various clients and departments NCC Planned Giving is involved with.

Andreia has two children, a girl, and a boy, loves her family, the beach, and isn't too sure she likes snow.
